- The .223 Caliber/5.56MM Softpack Cleaning System replaces over 3 lbs. of conventional gear. The .223/5.56 comes standard with bore and chamber brushes to clean and maintain your AR15’s, M4’s and M16’s. By using the flexible Memory-Flex® cleaning rod, it is only possible to clean correctly, from Breech-to-Muzzle®, in the natural direction of the bullet. With this system, the receiver, locking lugs, chamber, shoulder and neck can easily be cleaned. The handy obstruction removers that are included can dislodge bore obstructions, such as mud or snow, and push them out through the muzzle end. Also using the obstruction removers, you can easily knock out an empty case or bullet that is lodged in the neck with just a few taps. In addition to these components, this cleaning system also contains two brass slotted tips, small caliber patches, a T-handle, a .5oz. tube of Otis O85® Ultra Bore® Solvent, and a bore reflector/flag safety.
