Patternmaster Short Range tubes will extend out the end of your barrel approximately 1/4" and will throw a pattern similar to a factory improved cylinder pattern on paper. Patternmaster recommends using the short range tube over decoy or inside 40 yards. Patternmaster Mid Range tubes will extend out the end of your barrel approximately 1/2" and will throw a pattern similar to a factory improved modified pattern on paper. Patternmaster recommends using the mid range tube over decoy or inside 50 yards. Patternmaster Long Range tubes will extend out the end of your barrel approximately 1" and will throw a pattern similar to a factory full with 2 3/4" or 3" shells and a modified pattern with 3 1/2" shells. Patternmaster recommends using the long range tube beyond 40 yards with an effective range of 75 yards. Patternmaster Extended tubes will extend out the end of your barrel approximately 1 1/2" and will throw a pattern similar to a factory full with 2 3/4" or 3" or 3 1/2" shells. Patternmaster recommends using the extended tube beyond 40 yards with an effective range of 80 yards.
