The newest Picatinny scope rail designed for the Savage MKI, MKII & 93 with factory drilled & tapped receivers . Works great when using Picatinny and Weaver style rings or those really long high powered scopes. Made from billet aircraft aluminum and then hard coat anodized for a long lasting finish. The ejection port area is "cut-out" for easier single shot loading or clearing a stuck spent case. Uses 4 #15 TORX head screws - included.

Due to some manufacture variances some rails may not have the savage engraved in the cut out.

• Installation Instructions:
• PLEASE NOTE: All work or modifications to any firearm should ALWAYS be performed by a competent, qualified Gunsmith. Please follow ALL NRA safety rules!
• Align the Mount up with the holes in the receiver*, apply a small amount of LocTite to the set screws and start all the screws into the receiver. Torque the screws to 5-7in lbs. Let set for 24hrs before use.
• Approximately .4250 tall
• * MKI and some MKII models have a slightly smaller ejection port.
