Strike Industries provides a solution to the existing problem of light occlusion for the conventional rifles, especially M4 carbines with short forends. A cantilevered extension rail that places the light as forward of the firearm as possible. The SI RICCI-ERS cantilever rail section will give you 3 more inches in length of mounting room to your existing hand guard giving you more hand room on your handguard. The ERS can also be used as a rail riser, bridge mount for optics, and even as a blast shield for your muzzle device!!! There are so many great uses for the SI RICCI ERS! The cantilever rail/light mount also features a beveled end and corners to reduce snagging and sharp edges.
